Job Description Job Description LHH is partnering with a well-known veterinarian-led network of pet care clinics headquartered in Dallas to find a skilled Senior Accountant. This is as newly created position due to growth. This position will also have clear trajectory to Manager in a short period of time. This position offers a competitive salary of 100K-110K plus a discretionary bonus, a full benefits package, and a hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office, 2 day remote). This company has a laid back environment and also allows you to bring your dog to work. Primary Responsibilities: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. Maintain, record, and post transactions in the general ledger. Reconcile trial balance accounts and ensure accuracy. Prepare detailed financial reports for management. Work with other departments to strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes. Assist in tax-related tasks and working with outside contractors. Accrue expenses and costs across multiple accounts. Support the preparation of audit schedules and provide assistance during audits. Enhance ERP systems to align with business needs and improve operational efficiency. Maintain detailed documentation of all accounting procedures and workflows. Contribute to special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Public Accounting highly desired 4 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably as a Sr. Accountant or team leader.
