Canaveral, and the United Kingdom. Role Overview: We’re seeking a
Procurement & Supply Chain Lead to develop and manage sourcing,
purchasing, logistics, and supplier quality processes that meet the
rigorous requirements of aerospace and defense manufacturing. This
leader will design and execute procurement strategies that optimize
cost, quality, and delivery while ensuring compliance with
FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, CMMC, and customer requirements. Key
Responsibilities: Strategic Procurement · Build and execute
sourcing strategies for key material categories (composites,
thermal protection systems, avionics, machined components, tooling,
logistics). · Develop and manage supplier relationships—emphasizing
quality, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness. · Lead
contract negotiations and vendor selection in coordination with
Contracts, Engineering, and Operations. · Manage RFQs, bids, cost
analysis, and supplier scorecards. Track total cost of ownership
and lifecycle cost savings. · Implement supplier segmentation and
dual-sourcing strategies to ensure resilience and continuity. ·
Align sourcing decisions with make/buy analysis and capacity
planning. Supply Chain Operations · Own end-to-end materials
flow—planning, purchasing, inventory, logistics, and
fulfillment—for production and R&D programs. · Establish KPIs
for on-time delivery, lead-time reduction, and supplier
performance. Drive continuous improvement through data-driven
insights. · Collaborate cross-functionally to forecast demand,
manage inventory levels, and mitigate supply risks. · Oversee
logistics and export compliance (customs documentation, freight
forwarders, HTS codes). · Implement scalable ERP/MRP processes and
ensure accurate configuration, traceability, and lot control. ·
Support readiness for DCMA CPSR, AS9100, and customer audits.
Required Qualifications: · Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business,
Engineering, or related field; Master’s or professional
certification (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP) preferred. · 8 years of
progressively responsible experience in supply chain or
procurement, including 3 years in aerospace, defense, or advanced
manufacturing. · Deep understanding of standard commercial and
government procurement regulations. · Proven success implementing
sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance, and optimizing
cost and delivery. · Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems,
supplier portals, and performance dashboards. · Strong leadership,
analytical, and negotiation skills; ability to work
cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Preferred
Qualifications: · Experience in Aviation, Aerospace & Defense
sector preferred but not essential. · Prior experience supporting
NASA, DoD, or Tier 1 aerospace / defense primes · Background in
materials management for composites, high-temperature ceramics, or
metallics. · Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
principles. · Exposure to supply-chain digitization tools
(AI-assisted planning, blockchain traceability, or advanced
analytics). · Understanding of export compliance (ITAR/EAR, ECCN
classification). Job Details Type: Full Time, Exempt (Salaried)
Base Salary Range: $125,000 to $165,000 Base Locations: Riverside,
CA and Ontario, CA. Partial remote flexibility. Travel: As needed
to various company facilities Your actual level and base salary
will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on
the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills,
education, and experience. Total compensation will also include a
comprehensive set of benefits including but not limited to: Company

Requirements: · Ability to work extended hours/weekends to meet
critical deadlines; travel to other Canopy sites and customer
locations as needed. · Proficiency with standard business software
and collaboration tools; strong cross-functional communication
