License Certifications: ACLS preferred, TNCC, PALS Must-Have
Skills/Experience: ICU / Critical Care Description: We are seeking
an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The
candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. The
position requires the ability to float between the Intensive Care
Unit and the Intermediate Care unit. The shift is from 7 PM to 7
AM. Weekly guaranteed hours are 36. Rotating weekends are required.
The candidate will work with critically ill adult and geriatric
patients. Common diagnoses include CABG, TAVR, STEMI, NSTEMI,
stroke, trauma, cardiovascular, neuro, and medical-surgical cases.
The patient ratio is 1:2 in the ICU and 1:3-4 in the IMC. Equipment
includes Baxter infusion pumps and GE monitoring systems. The
electronic health record system used is Medhost. Dress code
requires black scrubs. Candidates should have 2 years of recent
acute care experience.
