Title: Travel RN – CVICU (Night Shift) Location: Havasu Regional
Medical Center, Lake Havasu City, AZ Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Type: Travel Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (with potential
for extension) Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse
(RN) for a travel assignment in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care
Unit (CVICU) at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City,
Arizona. The ideal candidate will provide advanced critical care to
patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures and conditions,
demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and thrive in a high-acuity
environment. Responsibilities: Deliver safe, effective nursing care
to patients in the CVICU Monitor hemodynamic status, interpret
cardiac rhythms, and respond promptly to changes Administer
medications, treatments, and advanced therapies as prescribed
Assist with post-operative care for cardiovascular surgical
patients Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and
interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
Document patient care accurately and ensure compliance with
facility standards Educate patients and families on recovery,
discharge planning, and ongoing care needs Maintain adherence to
infection control and patient safety protocols Requirements: Active
RN license in Arizona or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent
CVICU or ICU experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN
preferred) Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary
team Completion of all onboarding and compliance requirements
