Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,167 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - At least 1 year of experience in a PCU setting. - Ability to titrate drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin. - Comfortable managing post-procedural patients and caring for groin sites in a stepdown unit. - Proficient in interpreting telemetry strips. Description: This position is for a float pool RN covering MedSurg, Telemetry, and PCU units. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population including geriatric and orthopedic patients. You will manage patients who have undergone procedures such as post-MI and post-cardiac catheterization. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 in PCU and 1:5-6 in MedSurg and Telemetry settings. There will be charge nurses who do not take assignments on each unit. Nurse aids will be utilized to support patient care across all settings. CPAP and BiPAP equipment will be available, with BiPAP and CPAP in the PCU. There will be telemetry monitoring available on the unit, with monitor techs supervising patient rhythms. Travelers must be flexible with scheduling as assignments will be communicated two hours prior to the shift. The scheduling will strive to accommodate block scheduling for night shifts. Weekend work will be required every other week, and travelers will be included in the holiday rotation. The dress code consists of solid color professional scrubs. Charting will be conducted using a specified electronic health record system. The cancellation policy allows for a specified number of shifts per contract.
