Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,275 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with IABP and CRRT - Fresh OHS from the OR experience - Ability to read dysrhythmia strips Description: Unit requires more than two years of experience. Must have own vehicle if traveling as a duo. Clinicians will not share the same schedule. Dysrhythmia exam must be passed within two attempts prior to signing the contract. A score of 80% is required; failing to achieve this will result in a six-month Do Not Use status. Candidates are subject to a 50-mile radius rule. No full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with any affiliated facilities within the past year is allowed. The unit has 12 beds with ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 based on acuity. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS. Common diagnoses include AMI, CAD, and PVD. RNs are required to titrate drips as necessary. Common titratable or set rate drips include Dex, Propofol, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, Levo, Insulin, and Cardene. Charge Nurse/House Supervisor is available 24/7. There are no nurse aids on this unit. An Intensivist is in-house at all times. Respiratory Therapists are available 24/7. Unit equipment includes vents, Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, and HiFlow. In-room monitoring is available. RNs read dysrhythmia strips. The position requires two weekend shifts per pay period, with flexibility based on unit needs. Holiday work is required. Call or standby requirements may apply as per contract. Floating to ICU/PCU/MS/Tele units may be necessary based on department needs. Navy blue is the designated scrubs color. Unit-specific orientation is provided. Impella experience is desirable. Familiarity with Cerner is a plus.
