Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ICU Float Pool /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Every other weekend requirement /n• Float between ICU, MedSurg Tele, and PCU units across both campuses /n• Include inpatients holding in ED as needed /n• First to float designation with flexible scheduling requirements /n• Night shift may accommodate block scheduling preferences /n• Nurse-to-patient ratios: PCU 1:4, MedSurg Tele 1:5-6 /n• Must pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts with 80% score prior to contract signing /n• At least 1 year ICU experience required /n• Must be comfortable titrating drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin /n• Required to interpret telemetry strips independently /n• Work with common patient diagnoses including geriatric patients, orthopedic patients, post-procedural cardiac patients, post MI, post Cardiac Cath, and CABG post-op day 3-4 /n• Manage respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high flow /n• Unit assignments communicated 2 hours prior to shift start via text message /n• Standby requirement possible during shifts with excessive staffing /n• Holiday requirements include traveler participation in permanent staff rotation /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS /n• Dress code: solid color professional scrubs transitioning to navy scrubs in October /n• 8-hour general hospital orientation plus 24 hours of unit-specific training /n• Charting system: Cerner /n• BSN not required /n/n Facility: /n This regional medical center operates across two campuses providing comprehensive acute care services to the community.
