Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,095 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights EOW Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in a PCU setting Description: Clinicians must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract. If a clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, they will be disqualified for 6 months. Candidates may not be employed with any competing facility within the past year. The unit includes Med-Surg Tele and PCU patients. Experience with geriatric patients and post-operative cardiac cases is preferred. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 in PCU and 1:5-6 in MedSurg Tele. RNs will be required to titrate drips, including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin. Charge nurses will not take assignments. Nurse aids will be utilized in all settings. Respiratory equipment includes CPAP and BiPAP. Monitors are available in the Stepdown unit, and nurses must interpret strips. Shifts are 7-7 for AM and PM, with scheduling managed by the float pool scheduler. Travelers must be flexible with scheduling. Weekend requirements involve working every other weekend. Travelers will be included in the holiday rotation. There is no call or standby requirement. Assignments will be communicated 2 hours prior to shift start via text message. Current dress code requires solid color professional scrubs; guidelines will be aligned with organizational standards. There is a 4-shift cancellation policy per contract for shifts of 13 weeks or longer. The charting system used is Cerner.
