ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch break • Schedule covers 4-week periods with self-scheduling system balanced by management • Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per 4-week schedule) • Holiday requirement includes working 2 days and 1 evening or 2 evenings and 1 day for Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving • No call or standby requirements • May float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified • First to float designation for nights • Patient ratios of 1:5 on telemetry units (4A and 4B with 48 total beds) • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Navy blue scrubs required • One shift of unit-specific orientation provided • Must have experience reading basic telemetry strips and interpreting strips (required to sign at least once per shift) • Experience needed with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA cases • Cerner charting system experience recommended • Care for patients with COVID, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and various surgical patients • Work with equipment including BiPap, CPAP, high flow oxygen, and breathing treatments • Charge nurse available who does not take patient assignments • Nurse aides available with 1:10-15 ratios • BSN not required Facility: This regional medical center operates a comprehensive telemetry and surgical unit featuring 48 beds across two units on the 4th floor. The facility provides specialized care for a wide range of medical and surgical conditions including neurological, orthopedic, and general surgical patients.
