Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch break /n• Schedule covers 4-week periods with self-scheduling system balanced by management /n• Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per 4-week schedule) /n• Holiday requirement includes working 2 days and 1 evening or 2 evenings and 1 day for Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving /n• No call or standby requirements /n• May float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified /n• First to float designation for nights /n• Patient ratios of 1:5 on telemetry units (4A and 4B with 48 total beds) /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS /n• Navy blue scrubs required /n• One shift of unit-specific orientation provided /n• Must have experience reading basic telemetry strips and interpreting strips (required to sign at least once per shift) /n• Experience needed with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA cases /n• Cerner charting system experience recommended /n• Care for patients with COVID, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and various surgical patients /n• Work with equipment including BiPap, CPAP, high flow oxygen, and breathing treatments /n• Charge nurse available who does not take patient assignments /n• Nurse aides available with 1:10-15 ratios /n• BSN not required /n/n Facility: /n This regional medical center operates a comprehensive telemetry and surgical unit featuring 48 beds across two units on the 4th floor.
