working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Prescott,
Arizona, 86301! Job Title: CVOR RN Profession: RN (Registered
Nurse) Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM -
10:30 PM, Monday through Friday with call Experience: Minimum 2
years License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Must-Have: 1 Year of full-time experience required. Skillset to
work in the OR and CVOR is required. Scrubbing experience is
required. Description: This position is for a CVOR RN in the
Cardiovascular Operating Room. You will be working in a unit with
six suites plus a hybrid room. The department handles 20-30 cases a
day. Common cases include total joints, general surgery, spine,
urology, and cardiovascular for the open heart team. There is a
charge nurse and specialty leads available as resources. House
supervisors are onsite 24/7. OR technicians are available for
support. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner.
Weeknight call requirements are 5-10 nights every 6 weeks, with up
to 50% of the time on CVOR call. Weekend requirements include 2
weekends every 6 weeks, with up to 50% of the time needed. Holiday
requirements include 2-3 shifts per year. Call is divided equally
among the staff in the same role. Travelers will begin taking call
after 1-2 weeks. Response time for call is 30 minutes. Floating to
other departments is rare and will not include floating to
procedural areas such as Pre-Op or PACU. Scrubs are provided by the
hospital. Unit-specific orientation will consist of 3-5 shifts
depending on case load and exposure. The hospital reserves the
right to cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment.
Charting is completed using Cerner. A BSN is not required. This
position is set in an acute care setting. 5 Benefits of Travel
