Job Description Hospitalist - Pediatrics Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Hospitalist - Pediatrics and make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of children in our community. Be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional pediatric services in a supportive setting. Overview: We are seeking experienced Pediatric Hospitalists to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient care for children, primarily focusing on newborns, with a fixed clinic schedule from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays. Call responsibilities are required approximately 10 days per month, including weekends, on a rotating schedule with a local provider. The role offers a mix of clinic-only, combined clinic and call, or call-only shifts on weekends. You will work with well-equipped resources, including CLIA-waived testing, dedicated support staff, and in-hospital laboratory and imaging services. Required Skills: Valid medical license and board certification in Pediatrics Proven experience in hospital-based pediatric care Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Skills: Experience with newborn care and neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) procedures Bilingual abilities Familiarity with electronic health record systems Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from accredited institutions Minimum 2 years of hospitalist or pediatric inpatient experience Previous experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings Other Requirements: Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Willingness to work a rotating call schedule, including weekends Ability to document all overtime and call-back hours accurately Passion for delivering compassionate pediatric care This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team dedicated to your professional growth.
