we serve. More about our team Our IMC unit is comprised of 30 beds
with a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio. You will be playing a crucial
role in making our community at Lake Havasu City healthier and will
be part of a team with a positive and collaborative work
environment. This position offers the opportunity to work
collaboratively across disciplines to coordinate patient care as
well as opportunity for growth and enhance your skills in critical
care. In this position you will work as an advocate for the
physical and emotional well-being of the patient. How you'll
contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: -
Provides direct patient care in the IMC unit using the nursing
process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of
practice. - Develops nursing care plan in coordination with
patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. -
Communicates changes in patient's clinical condition with
Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as
appropriate. - Provide appropriate care for patients moved from ICU
to IMC, utilizing critical care skills and professionalism. - May
float to Med/Surg floor or may float to ICU/ED if trained

Applicants should have a current Arizona RN license and possess an
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing
school. Additional requirements include: - Education: Bachelor of
Science (BSN) preferred - Certification: Basic Life Support
certification required at hire (once ACLS obtained, BCLS no longer
required) - Additional: EKG Course, Moderate Sedation, and NIHSS
Stroke within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter -
Certification: Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
within 60 days of hire - Certification: PALS and TNCC required
within 6 months of hire - Experience: Minimum of one (1) year
