Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,180 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Prescott, Arizona, 86301! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Staffing Resources Float Pool (ICU/MS/Tele/PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in the ICU setting License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts. - Must be comfortable managing titratable drips, including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin. Description: Unit includes a float pool with ICU, MedSurg Tele, and PCU. The float pool serves multiple facilities. Nurse-to-patient ratios are: PCU 1:4 and MedSurg Tele 1:5-6. Common patient diagnoses include geriatric patients, orthopedic patients, and cardiac cases such as post-MI and post-cardiac catheterization. Experience in managing various drips is required. Charge nurses do not take assignments. Nurse aids are available in all settings. Respiratory therapy equipment includes CPAP and BiPAP. Monitoring is provided in stepdown units, and nurses must be able to interpret cardiac strips. Schedules are published six weeks in advance for four-week periods. Flexibility in scheduling is required. Weekend and holiday work is part of the staffing rotation. There may be standby requirements based on staffing levels. Assignments are communicated two hours before shifts via text message. Scrub color is currently solid professional colors, transitioning to navy scrubs in October. The orientation includes general hospital-overview training followed by departmental shifts. Charting will be done using Cerner. BSN is not required.
