Job Description Job Description Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Van Drivers in Ontario, CA . Drivers will be delivering forklifts, tow motors and their parts in 53ft dry van trailers primarily in CA, AZ, and NV. Compensation Average gross weekly pay: $1,700 Pay based on miles and stops Paid practical miles, paid for all miles loaded or empty Stop pay: $15 - $33 per stop 5 – 10 stops per week Securing pay: $1 per 1000 pounds secured Bonuses: Referral bonus: $5,000 Quarterly safety bonus Service awards Paid via direct deposit weekly Benefits & Perks Great company benefits starting the 1st of the month following 60 days: Health, dental, and vision insurance Company paid life insurance and short term disability Additional insurance: Long term disability, voluntary life, AD&D, accident, critical illness 401K with company match after 60 days employed 7 Paid company holidays 5 Days PTO after 90 days employed 3 days paid orientation with travel expense reimbursement Paid quarterly safety training Perks: PrePass, comdata card, uniforms Passenger program available after 90 days of employment Must be an immediate family member at least 13 years of age No slip seating Home Time, Route, & Schedule Home Time: Home 2 nights weekly, primarily on the weekend Schedule: 5-6 days out Route: Running in CA, AZ, and NV Level of Touch: No loading or unloading, must secure freight Equipment Newer model Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner trucks Automatic transmission Amenities: electric APU and power inverter Governed speed: 70 mph ELD equipped using Samsara Outward facing camera Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must have CDL A license Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment No felony in the past 7 years No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Ontario, CA .
