Required qualifications include at least one year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures, with two or more years preferred. Certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) is required, and Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification in Echo is also needed.
